An excellent option for Clients that manage Live Webcasts from multiple locations.

The difference between the PUSH and PULL method:
1) With a PUSH - Your Encoder connects to the server.
2) With a PULL - The Server connects to your encoder.

To change your IP address for your live Windows Media Account, or to switch from PUSH to PULL or PULL to PUSH, do the following.

Log into you Account Management Interface and click on the "Update" link next to your live account.

To change your IP address, or switch from Push to Pull, click the radio button next to "Pull" and insert your IP address into the "Encoder Static IP" field and click on the "save" button.

To change your Pull account to pull from a URL rather than an IP, click the radio button next to "Specify source URL" and insert your URL under "URL" and click on the "save" button.

To change your Pull account to a Push account, click the field next to "Push", and click on the "save" button.

Click on the Info link below the Live Info text to view the information that will need to be inserted into your Windows Media Encoder for a PUSH.

For a PUSH insert your information into the Windows Media Encoder as follows. Then click Next.

Insert your password here. Click OK.

From the main screen in the Customer Management Interface click on the Link button below the Link To Webcast text. Cut and paste the link into your website or e-mail the link to clients.
