Below you will find instructions guiding you through the step by step process for securing your Windows Media Live Links. If you have not yet added this service to your existing account(s) or would like more information Click Here.

These instructions are for Clients that are setting up secure links for distribution. Please take your time and follow through each step to either secure your links from other domains using them, password protecting the links or both. If you have any problems or issues please give us a call and we will be glad to help


The Step by Step Process:

Login to your account management system and click on the Link to Webcast button from the live account you wish to create a protected link for.

Click on the "Advanced Link Protection" button.

There are 2 selectable options for the Advanced Links.
1) Link 1 should be used for basic use where the player will popup to play the content.
2) Link 2 requires the insertion of javascript code into your page enabling the use of embedded players directly into your web pages.

Insert your domain name or the domain name of the site you wish your media to be available through, and click on the "Add" button.
(It is not required that you insert a Domain Name if you only wish to require a Username and Password)

To add a required Username and Password Login for the protected link, insert a username and password in the username/password fields and click on "Add"
(It is not required that you insert a Username and Password if you only wish to enabled your links to work from a specific Domain Name or group of Domain Names)
