Below you will find instructions guiding you through the step by
step process of seamlessly inserting an Archived Ad during a Live
Broadcast. Great for Radio and TV stations.
These instructions are for Clients that require ad insertions from
an archived source during a live webast. Please take your time and
follow through each step to get started. If you have any problems
or issues please give us a call and we will be glad to help.
1. Click on the properties button on the top menu bar.

2. Select the "Sources" tab.

3. Click the "Add" button to add another source.

4. To the the right of Source from: text select "File"
if your new source is a file (or "Devices" if it is coming
in through another device on your computer). Once you select "file"
you will be able to brows to your file/clip on your computer. Do
this and then name the source on the top field next to "Name".

5. At the bottom of the window next to "at end", you
can specify what you want the encoder to do once the file has ended.
If you want the encoder to go back to your live device, then select
"Roll over to the first source". If you want the encoder
to go through all the sources as a playlist, then select "Roll
over to next source.". If you want the encoder to stop, then
select "stop". If you want the encoder to Loop through
the source over and over, then select "loop". In most
cases you would select "Roll over to the first source"
so that it would return to the live broadcast.

6. If you want your source file to start from a spot other than
the beginning, you can specify this by clicking on the "Mark
In/Out" option. In most cases you would not want to set this
as you would want to manually start the archived ad when the time
is right.

7. Click "Add" again if you wish to add more sources.
This is how you would setup multiple archived ads in advance and
name them. Once you have set up all of your sources, than close
the session properties window.
8. Click on "Start Encoding" in the top menu bar.

9. You should now see all of the sources you set up, on the left
hand side of your encoder. To play any one of the sources, just
click on it. This makes it easy to have all of your ads ready to
go with a click of your mouse. This is great for Radio and TV stations!
